What would an angel say? The devil wants to know...

After seeing Madonna and Justin Timberlake's 4 minutes to save the world video... i have to say...

Its the gayest damn thing I've ever seen on the internet, and I've seen "what what my butt!"

So anyway... I need some music recommendations. I'm really grooving on the new Death Cab for Cutie single. (It's insanely dark...) And, even though its pop... Kerli's Walking on Air is gettin on the old play list...

But I thought I'd throw this one out to ya...

Ima be doin some downloading with the new system... any suggestions? The more off the beaten track, the better.

Not sure what your tastes are, but here's some bands I've been playing in the background recently: Bon Iver (pop inspired, but haunting), Yeasayer (strange sonic mush that's a hell of a lot of fun), The Vincent Black Shadow (darkish rock), Morpheus (darkish/bluesy rock, The Heartless Bastards (bluesy rock), The Decemberists (often epic & dark)

Personally I like the Deftones, their older stuff is really hardcore alternative, but their newer stuff is a bit more melodic. I also like Wolfshiem, AWESOME synthpop band, Heroin is a GREAT song. Blue October is another band that I like. If you haven't already checked them out, DO IT. Also if you like N!N their new album is avaliable for download for freem from their website.

Red Delicious - anything from their Addictions and Scars album but Casualties...and if you can find it, they have a deliciously dark track called Beautiful.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals has a blues rock kind of thing going that I rather enjoy.

And if noone gives you any suggestiosn you like, go to www.pandora.com and plug in a few of your favorite songs/bands. That should generate something new for you.
